Become a Member!

General Membership is open to all surviving military spouses who are (or have been in the past) eligible to receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) whether or not they have re-married.

Affiliate membership is for individual or corporate supporters that want to receive our newsletter and upcoming event information.

Gold Star Spouses of America (GSSA) will offer scholarships for member dues based upon need. Please email info@goldstarspouses.org to request a scholarship with the stated need/reason.

We cannot approve memberships until the applicant uploads in their profile or emails info@goldstarspouses.org with proof of eligibility and agrees to the privacy policy in their profile. 
Please still apply for membership, and we will work together.
