General Membership is open to all surviving military spouses who are (or have been in the past) eligible to receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA), whether or not they have re-married.

Charter General Membership is available only through 2024.

Affiliate membership is for individual or corporate supporters that want to receive our newsletter and upcoming event information.

Gold Star Spouses of America (GSSA) will offer scholarships for member dues based upon need.
Please email info@goldstarspouses.org FIRST to request a scholarship with the stated need/reason.

We cannot approve general, charter, or lifetime memberships until the applicant uploads or (e)mails in (info@goldstarspouses.org OR Gold Star Spouses of America, Inc.16192 Coastal Highway Lewes, DE 19958) proof of eligibility and agrees to the privacy policy in their profile. Please STILL apply for membership, and we will work together.

Charter Membership = A charter member is someone who is a member of an organization when it was first created or when its charter was adopted. As a Charter Member you are a founding member of Gold Star Spouses of America Inc.

Lifetime Membership - $500.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited One time payment retains general membership in Gold Star Spouses of America Inc. for your lifetime.

Individual Affiliate Membership - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) If you do not qualify for general membership (i.e. have not/do not receive DIC), Affiliate Membership is for individual supporters that want to receive our newsletter and upcoming event information.

Corporate Affiliate Membership - $1,000.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Affiliate corporate membership is for corporate supporters that want to receive our newsletter and upcoming event information.
