Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

"A day which will live in infamy."  Marks the US entrance into WWII. 

Result: The attack killed 2,403 Americans and wounded 1,178 others, prompting President Franklin D. Roosevelt to ask Congress to declare war the next day, officially bringing the United States into World War II
